There are thousands and thousands of people right across the country who are affected by anxiety disorders. If left untreated these disorders are capable of leading to the sufferer contemplating suicide. Ask for help immediately if you find yourself harboring thoughts of suicide. Don’t take such thoughts for granted even if they are for just a fleeting moment. Call a doctor or get talking to a close friend or even a family member with your interest at heart. As complicated as anxiety disorders might seem they are certainly not the very end of life as we know it. There are things you can do to fight back.
If you are entertaining suicidal thoughts then there is not much others can do that will make you feel a whole lot better about who you are. That said, there are some tools they can help you with. It’s a real shame indeed that on a yearly basis there are a number of deaths by suicide using various methods which include shooting, hanging, overdosing and cutting. You may feel hopeless right now, but there are people who can show you how to feel better. Remember that there are those who have dealt with anxiety and they can teach you how to overcome what you are going through.
For starters make sure you call 9-1-1 or or even your local suicide hotline at once if you start having feelings of harming yourself for any reason. Understand that you are not alone in this ordeal, or else these phone lines would not exist. You do not have to say who you are, simply speak to someone about what you are going through so they can help you. You are under no obligation whatsoever to do anything other than speak to someone and listen to some new ideas.

In our everyday lives, pain and sadness have their part even though a lot of people are able to still get on with life in general. However, if you find that your anxiety disorder is causing too much pain for you to bear, you can do one of two things: work to reduce the pain or work to increase your skills and resources for dealing with the pain. Just know that there are millions of people out there who are getting help to lead happier lives.
Spend some time to reflect on your life. You may have had a really horrible day but take the time to have a think about your life. Think about the impact your suicide will have on loved ones and consider what’s available to you to turn things around. The answer is not suicide. By thoroughly examining how you feel, you can work to create much happier days ahead.
